LED Lighting
LED lighting is fast becoming an extremely vital part of modern lighting solutions. Largely due to its extremely low running costs when compared with similar traditional products, and vast improvements in reliability we are installing more and more domestic

LED stands for light emitting diode, and it is classed as solid state lighting.
Rather than having a space filled with a gas and something to ignite the gas (as with traditional
incandescent lighting), an LED simply works like a transistor, directly attached to a printed circuit board. They consume very little power and last a very long time when compared to a similar traditional bulb.
LED fittings are now supplied for practically every type of light, from halogen GU10s (spotlights) all the way through to industrial standard high bay warehouse lighting.
We have a range of retrofit products for sale which you can simply replace your existing bulbs with as and when they blow, and if you would like any information regarding LED lighting in your home, please give us a call or an email.
We can also install a range of LED light fittings, so that your home will be future proofed for any new exciting LED products that may be released in the near future.
Voltage Optimisation

Your energy supply could be acting like a dripping tap.

The UK voltage from the national grid is delivered to your home at anywhere between 230 – 245 volts.

Since our entry into the European Union, all of our appliances that are used in the home are rated for between 215 – 230 volts, meaning that you could be shortening the life of your appliances whilst at the same time paying too much for your electricity.
Although this is a very common problem in the UK, it is not widely publicised and by simply installing a voltage optimisation unit into your mains electricity system you could save a considerable amount of your energy bill.
Other benefits include prolonged life of your appliances and the payback period is usually within 4 years.
The voltage optimisation systems that we use are all very high quality, and the engineers installing them are all fully qualified electricians, committed to ongoing personal development.
All our consultants are fully experienced with voltage optimisation systems, and will be able to give you the advice and guidance required in order to make a fully informed decision.
